Ferrán Badosa Coll, professor of Civil Law, is born
On September 22, 1940, the jurist Ferrán Badosa Coll , professor of Civil Law, was born in Madrid.
He studied Law at the University of Barcelona, obtaining his degree at the age of 21, which awarded him the Bertrán and Musitu Foundation prize . In 1963 he moved to the Royal College of the Spaniards of Bologna and prepared his doctoral thesis directed by Federico Battaglia and entitled L'interesse in the system of private giuridiche activity, with which the following year he obtained the degree of doctor at the University of Bologna. He began teaching in 1970 at the University of Barcelona, obtaining in July 1978 the position of associate professor of Civil Law at the Autonomous University of Phone Number Data Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, and, shortly after, the chair of Civil Law at the University. of Barcelona, until his retirement. The College of Notaries awarded him the VI Puig Salellas Prize . He also received, in 2012, the Luís de Peguera Medal from the Academy of Legislation and Jurisprudence of Catalonia. Among others, he has directed doctoral theses to Santiago Espiau Espiau , today a professor of Civil Law at the UB, on: Indivisible obligations in the Spanish civil code , the legal regime of the indivisibility of the obligation ; and Juan Marsal Guillamet , currently professor of Civil Law at the UB, in: The legal business of testamentary in the civil dret of Catalonia , which won the Miquel Casals Colldecarrera award in 1997. Among his many works, most of them in the Catalan language, the following stand out: Nullity of trademark granting. Force Majeure ; About trust assets in Catalonia; The intercession of the Catalan married woman ; The prescription, object of the prescription; the prescription in the principles of European contract law; The constitution of patrimoni fiduciari in the Catalan dret; The Catalan civil law in the Statute of 2006 . |
